First step in Extrusion
Friul Filiere started as a small artisan firm, taking its first steps in the production of toolings for the extrusion of PVC profiles, in 1978.
Thanks to the competence in mechanical technologies and to the chemical knowledge in the sector of plastic materials of its members, it rapidly asserts itself and moves to new premises in Buja in 1983, becoming a limited liability company (s.r.l.). These past years have seen the Company grow from simple toolings producer to manufacturer of complete plants for the extrusion of plastic materials, with consequent real estate expansion. Since 1996, Friul Filiere is a joint-stock company (S.p.a.) whose core business is centred in the project planning and technological engineering sectors, contracting out part of the works (wood works and electrical plants) to subsidiary companies. But Friul Filiere reaches the peek of its growth when the new millennium is about to start and the enterprise’s far-sighted owners launch into the Chinese market before anyone else in the region. The set-up of a joint-venture and the realization of very important orders give a further boost in 2001 as the Company inaugurates its newest premises and the testing department, promoting a more representative image throughout the world.
In 2008, FRIUL FILIERE SPA celebrated its 30th anniversary of foundation, directed by its enterprising founders Valdi Artico and Giuseppe Fantin.
