When it comes to energy saving and Friul Filiere machines, we can identify the following significant aspects that have improved production performance by reducing electricity consumption.
HEATING SYSTEM OF THE PLASTIFICATION CHAMBER
On traditional machines the plasticizing chamber is heated by means of electrical resistances controlled by thermoregulators which have the task of keeping the temperature constant during processing.
Friul Filiere Spa has patented the geometry of a special screw that generates friction with the cylinder such as to develop additional thermal energy which, in addition to plasticising the material, keeps the set temperatures constant, reducing the intervention of the resistances and the thermoregulation system.
REDUCTION OF ENGINE POWER
We have identified for each machine the optimal condition between absorbed power and couple necessary for the rotation of the screws inside the cylinder, to reach the highest production with the lowest energy consumption.
FLOW-ABSORPTION OPTIMIZATION
In conclusion, what has been described above makes Friul Filiere machines particularly innovative with respect to the issues of energy saving, allowing a significant reduction in transformation costs and, above all, in CO2 emissions.
